FAQs

How many guest does your venue hold?
We permit 100 guests but our venue is best suited for about 80


Am I allowed to serve liquor on the premises?
Yes! You are welcome to provide alcohol. We ask that you purchase a county alcohol permit and hire a bartender that is ServSafe certified or TIPS certified. Many caterers proved this as an option so make sure to ask.

How many parking spaces are available?
We offer field parking that can accommodate up to 50 cars. Carpooling for your guests is preferred. We do recommend shuttle services for up to 100 guests or more than 50 cars. Uber works great. A Step Above Limo and Sunway Charters offer services that can help shuttle your guests to the event.


Can I bring in my own caterer?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own caterer.


Do I need a wedding planner?
The client must hire a wedding planner or day of coordinator. It takes a lot to get a wedding together! We can make recommendations.


How far is the venue from the CLT airport?
Bansen Farms is approximately 30 minutes from the Charlotte airport.

What is the closest hotel?
Our Airbnb sleeps up to 7 people. There are also over 30 Airbnbs in the local area that we would be happy to recommend!


What is my deposit to reserve my date?
We ask that you put down half of package price to hold date. The other half is due 30 days prior to the event.


When is my final guest count due?
We ask that you provide us with your final guest count within 30 days of your event date.


Is there a space for my wedding party to get ready?
Our farmhouse is the perfect light and airy setting for you and your bridesmaids to get ready. As for the grooms, They are welcome to hang out in the main barn or an RV rentals are really popular options!


What time does the event need to end?
We require that all music be shut off at 10:00pm. Guests should be exiting property at 10:00 pm

Is smoking allowed on the property?
We do not allow smoking on the property, in the house, or in the venue.


Are sparklers allowed?
We allow sparklers, but the event planner oversees that there are no accidents.


Is confetti allowed?
We do not allow confetti.


Is the venue pet friendly for weddings?
Yes, if there is an assigned pet watcher and it is kept on a leash. No more than two dogs are permitted for ceremony and they are not allowed inside.


What are the restrooms like?
We have a restroom outside of venue with mirror, sink, and toilet.


What is the average price of having an outdoor wedding?
Our venue rental prices are located on the Wedding Page. The average cost of a wedding is $8,000-16,000 for 80-100 people, depending on how elaborate or simple you would like to be for catering, florals, decorations, photography, clothing,
